Business Consultant (Pricing Domain Expert) - Flexible within the US
Description: Our leading price management software company is looking for individuals with business consulting, industry, and/or pricing domain expertise. Business Consultants present Vistaar’s value proposition, evaluate client requirements, demonstrate the Vistaar solution, develop and present client-specific value proposition and recommend pricing best practices. This is a highly visible position with interaction across multiple roles and levels within our client organizations.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in B2B pricing as a practitioner or a solution provider
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive-level presence
- Demonstrated ability to influence change within organizations
- Provide advice and recommendations to customers
- Strong presentation and content development skills
- Ability to think quickly on your feet, and assert point-of-view
- Optimization and statistical data analysis experience a plus
- MBA, CPA or comparable degree highly desirable
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
Responsiblities:
- Evaluate customer business requirements and needs
- Communicate and demonstrate client-specific value proposition
- Influence and respond to requests for proposals
- Develop selling proposition and sales presentation content
- Perform opportunity assessments
- Perform business case analysis for implementation phase
- Analyze post go-live benefits and fulfillment of value proposition
- Develop price management best practices and domain expertise
- Collaborate with marketing on product roadmap and customer requirements
- Author white papers and represent company in thought leadership roles
